**Summary**:
The Marketing Operations Manager’s focus will be to take on responsibilities pertaining to driving planning, budget, effectiveness, efficiencies, and alignment across APJ field marketing.
He/she will lead in the implementation of processes, operational standards, best practices, data, metrics, insights, and systems to maximize the business impact and results from all APJ marketing investments and resources.
**Responsibilities**
Drives annual planning process:
- Takes full ownership of APJ Marketing annual planning process
- Partners with sales, marketing, global sales development, finance and other cross functional teams to drive planning process through to completion
Budget management:
- Works directly with Marketing Operations Director and Field Marketing teams to ensure budget linearity
- Keeps close eye on spend and ensures all global budget deadlines and targets are met
- Liaises directly with global finance and leadership to ensure budget requirements can be met
Project Management:
- Owns and manages major project lifecycles
- Develops design documents to define project scope and identify stakeholders
- Provide clear communication to cross-functional teams and management on status of projects (e.g., proposals, roadmaps, resource requirements, issues, and priorities)
- Designs and implements communication plans to ensure all parties are informed and updated
- Follows-up with assigned resources continuously manage the productivity of the team, project timelines and deliverables.
- Balances multiple projects and employment schedules to meet the management team’s goals
Analysis and Communication:
- Gains access to in-house reporting tools to facilitate the generation of reports
- Gathers, compiles, and sorts data to facilitate reporting and analysis
- Distributes reports to stakeholders concisely and effectively
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role you have**:
- An undergraduate degree in marketing/business (or equivalent) is preferred
- 5+ years experience in marketing, sales/marketing operations, or related experience; MBA preferred
Project management and team management skills required
- Strategy to Execution Mindset, Results Focus, Teaming and Collaboration Skills
- Strong abilities in Microsoft office - strong excel and powerpoint skills strongly preferred
- Strong familiarity with marketing data tools & platforms
