The Privacy and Data Protection Office (PDPO) at TikTok is at the forefront of driving privacy efforts in an accountable and industry-leading manner. Join our global team in championing privacy best practices across TikTok.

**Responsibilities**:

- Program Management: Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of new strategic transformation initiatives and efforts across the organization.
- Team & Process Scaling: Lead the development of PDPO's Strategic Transformations and Remediations capability, including all aspects of documentation, tooling and team configuration.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between executives, technical teams, legal, and other internal/external stakeholders on privacy matters. Comfortable speaking externally if required.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and manage risks associated with data protection and privacy in a timely and effective manner.
- Education & Training: Develop and deliver privacy training materials for internal teams.
- Privacy-by-Design: Advocate for, enforce, and implement 'privacy-by-design' throughout the product development cycle.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for privacy practices, protocols, and data flows.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest privacy technology solutions and best practices, contributing to Bytedance's continual improvement in privacy approach.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in program/project management and driving strategic initiatives.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, and directing cross functional teams through ambiguity.
- Able to handle uncertain situations and adapt to changing priorities. Ownership with exceptional bias for action; self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy standards.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage leadership at all levels throughout the organization

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with data protection impact assessments is a plus.
- Knowledge of Bytedance products and services is an advantage.
- 5-7 years related professional experience
