The project aims to develop a new integrated device configuration to enable solar light harvesting and energy storage via a novel perovskite-organic heterojunction materials to achieve a high photo-conversion efficiency. The scope includes synthesis of the perovskite-organic heterojunctions to enable both high solar absorption, charge transfer, and electrochemical storage and device characterization.
Key Responsibilites:
- Conduct the project in three Work Packages: i) Materials selection by theoretical calculation; ii) Synthesis of the perovskite-organic heterojunction to enable both high solar absorption, charge transfer, and electrochemical storage, and iii) device design and performance evaluation.- Work on the designed project and meet the target. He/she should make regular progress report to PI.- Develop proposals based on the results of this project for external grants.- Provide support to the research group on various electrochemical processes.- Manageme lab and project issues, including equipment procurement, reimbursement, and other related paperwork.
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. Degree in either material sciences or applied physics from QS top100 universities.- Demonstrated track-record of scientific productivity (journal publication, patents, etc) particularly on the topic of electrocatalysis for water splitting.-
- Fast learner and excited to learn about other disciplines.- Able to conduct the project independently without heavy training or supervision.- Good team player who is capable and willing to provide supports in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
