Director, Unit Process Development

Head of the Unit Process Development (UPD) for Infineon Batam and Singapore within the Package R&D department of Infineon Singapore reporting to the Head of Department.
In your new role you will:

- Define the **Unit Process Development (UPD) **roadmap in collaboration with the package platform manager and the unit process experts.
- Drive the **UPD roadmap implementation **to achieve business success and technology leadership.
- **Define required headcounts, skillsets and budge **t to execute the roadmap in the UPD organization.
- Drive and **promote technical leadership **towards greater technical competency relevant to Unit Process Development (i.e. process development, equipment development, material development) from concept stage to high volume manufacturing.
- **Define the digitalization roadmap **for unit process development and drive it implementation.
- Promote and **implement state-of-the art digital solution f **or fast and agile unit process development (e. g. **Artificial Intelligence, Simulation, Augmented Reality, **etc.)
- Drive and **promote entrepreneurial, innovative and customer oriented leadership **towards greater project execution and **foster agile mindset **in the Unit Process Development Organization.
- Participate in defining the department strategy and package development roadmap for **Intelligent Power Modules (IPM) and DSO package portfolio.**:

- Represent Backend Development Team in interfacing to development partners on cooperation, benchmarking and best practice sharing. Represent organization at various suppliers.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Minimum **Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Science or Technology.**:

- **Minimum **10 years **of relevant experience in semiconductor industry, **specializing n package assembly and development.**:

- **Good experience in team management.**:

- **Knowledge of **R&D in semiconductor industry **and understanding of semiconductor operation and supply chain model.**:

- **Ability to anticipate issues and challenges and resolving them quickly.**:

- **Familiar with **Intellectual Property Process **highly advantageous
