**Primary Function**
- Perform cargo surveys at the warehouses, anchorages or terminals as per company’s procedure as well as specific customer requirements. Surveyor is to independently inspect, measure, sample, investigate and report as required on the company's operation/customer requirement.

**Job Descriptions**
- Make independent judgments based on the data collected, use data to determine if product meets client expectations and requirements;
- Utilizes data from obtained field documents to prepare an inspection report, submitted to the office detailing results of inspection
- Communicate and gives information to the administration staff regarding details of the inspection requirements.
- Liaison with Terminal & Warehouse personal for execution of inspections.
- Responsible for performing Loading, Discharge, Stock Verification, Sampling and Damage Inspections, verify that the samples are labelled with identifying product, location of sample, date, and time of collection.
- Travel occasionally (if required).
- Perform other assignments as directed
- Reports directly to the Director on all matters as related to your duties.
- To attend / carry out various types of survey on board ship and sites on cargo, cargo measuring and marine related activities.

**Skills and Job Requirements
- At least Bachelor Degree in Maritime, Transport, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Detail-oriented and adaptable
- Good Communication skills
- Good command in English, Mandarin (additional language would be added advantage)
- Experience in the cargo insurance claim and shipping industry will be an added advantage
- Experience handled cargoes, container survey and Insurance claim’s/investigation process
- Well-versed and knowledgeable on ASEAN Countries port & the regulation
- Well-versed in cargo loss/damage claim procedure
- 3-5 years of experience in inspecting cargo Job Requirements
