**Job Description**:
This position is responsible for supporting the Events and Outreach team to plan and implement local and international events and develop partnerships to grow opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate in sports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- To contribute to the planning and implementation of international and local events and programmes
- To participate in team discussions to review and improve on impact outcomes from events and programmes
- To support the recruitment and management of volunteers
- To facilitate community learning of para sports
- To support and facilitate the events and outreach activities and ensure all operational and logistic requirements are carried out accordingly
- To carry out other adhoc duties assigned by the Events and Outreach Managers and Directors.

Learning Outcomes:

- Gain project management skills to plan, organise and execute events, including setting timelines, budgeting, coordinating logistics and liaising with vendors
- Gain skills and knowledge in designing and implementing community programs that address the needs and interests of target audiences
- Gain knowledge and techniques for engaging with event participants, volunteers and program beneficiaries, fostering a sense of community and belonging
- Gain experience and improve public speaking and presentation skills by addressing event attendees and conducting program activities
- Gain experience and learn to handle unexpected issues and crises during events and develop quick thinking and problem solving skills
