Market Development Representative

As a part of our aggressive growth plan to seize the current market opportunities, we are looking for a **Market Development Representative **to drive the business development by connecting and nurturing high-quality leads. Key focus for this position is to convert marketing qualified leads to sales ready opportunities using our industry leading tools and techniques.
This position plays a key role in supporting our Sales team and a great opportunity to bridge between Marketing and Sales function.
Reporting to Head of Business Development, the role requires a customer-centric approach to engage prospects, understand needs and create interest about the company’s products and services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop deep understanding of potential prospects needs to match with the company’s products and services.
- Introduce the company’s products and services and provide information and clarity where required.
- Assess marketing generated leads (MQL) engagement activities and evaluate if lead’s fit to company’s ideal customer profile and sales criteria.
- Gather needs and requirements of MQL to establish qualified leads (SQL) before handoff to sales team.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, providing prospects with upfront information and recommendations, where necessary.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide lead nurturing content for continuous customer engagement, as well as provide feedback for campaign optimization.
- Keeping detailed notes of engagements and collaborating with Sales to monitor and track pipeline activities.
- Keep up to date about company’s products and services as well as industry trends and competing products/services for appropriate representation to potential customers.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related experience
- Proven sales techniques and strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Comfortable in performing outbound activities that converts to sales appointments
- Must have previous experience in advocating/selling ERP or SaaS products and services to high value B2B customers, and setting up
- Prior experience in CRM or loyalty solutions will be advantageous
- A strong relationship builder with at least 3 years of experience in sales or business development related role
- Familiarity with digital solutions and tools to analyze prospects’ business
- Customer oriented with exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven and numbers-oriented
- Able to perform independently as well as collaboratively
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
