**About The Role**

A regional SEO specialist role based in Singapore and sitting with the Marketing team has opened up in Zenyum

The ideal SEO Specialist will take charge of the planning and execution of Zenyum's group of websites' SEO strategy and propose best practices and solutions to existing technical, on-page and off-page issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify SEO technical gaps like site performance issues, technical problems, site errors, linking practices and backlink management.
- Perform keyword research to uncover potential content gaps as well as low-hanging fruit for organic search results.
- Analyse onsite behaviour to understand overall website user experience issues and work with Product team on resolutions.
- Optimise content strategy according to how current content affects organic rankings and identify content gaps.
- Leverage SEO tools on a day-to-day basis for crawling, auditing and reporting of website issues and performance.
- Whilst it is not necessary to possess phenomenal copywriting skills, ability to write in fluent English is a must for the purposes of content optimisation and recommendations.
- Perform audits and data analysis using tools like Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel by executing V-lookups, pivot tables, filters, conditional formatting, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Minimally a **Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing or Computer Science, with at least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience**:

- A proficient understanding of web technologies and how they work together - for example, understanding how websites are hosted on servers, different server errors
- Knowledge of how servers and HTML/CSS/JavaScript affect the speed and performance of a website
- Knowledge of how domain and URL structuring works - for example,** gtlds, subdomains, subdirectories**:

- Knowledge of how **Googlebot** works
- Understanding of **social algorithms and content strategy**:

- Strong knowledge of key SEO factors like **duplicate content management, page retirement strategy, local SEO strategy**:

- Bilingual in English & Mandarin (to liaise with local and regional counterparts)
- Excellent team working, collaboration and project management skills
- Advantageous to possess experience with **web development**:

- Proficient in Google suite of tools
- Strong in web analytics using tools like **Google Analytics**,** SEMRush**,** Ahrefs**, etc
