Senior Manager Consumer Bancassurance

**The job**:
You are responsible for building strong relationships with our bancassurance partner to market general insurance products through the various sales channels. This is a key role as you will be leading a business development team to build strategies that drive take-up and renewal rates to meet production target. You will report directly to the Head of Consumer, Bancassurance.
**What you will do**:
Ownership and accountability for the end to end bancassurance value proposition
Lead a business development team to work closely with the bancassurance partner for the execution and implementation of strategies and initiatives across all sales channels
Work closely with other support functions to enhance the customer journey
Manage the development and performance of the consumer insurance product portfolio
Responsible for delivery of the performance of the bancassurance business and ownership of the consumer banking bancassurance P&L
Lead strategic improvement initiatives
Provide exceptional leadership to attract, retain and grow great talent within the dedicated bancassurance business development team
Any Ad-hoc task that being assigned to you
**Qualifications**:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
At least 8 years of insurance experience
Proven track record in bancassurance preferred
Extensive experience and knowledgeable across distribution and general insurance products
Practical hands-on leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate at different levels
Experience in a banking environment is a plus
Self -motivated, creative, driven and resourceful
Insurance certifications (Certificate in General Insurance) is required
