We wish to appoint a to appoint a Research Fellow to lead the project.

**Responsibilities**:
Monitor project progress and manage risks to ensure milestones and Key Performance Indicators are met on time and within budget and scope.
Liaise with the Principal Investigator and Research Officrs within the team to ensure appropriate and timely decision making and progress, and highlight risks, timeline delays and implement mitigations strategies.
Identify, design and lead innovative research projects
Attract grant and industry funding to support new project areas
Act as the principal contact for potential industry collaborations established
Work effectively with a diverse, interdisciplinary team of researchers and a range of stakeholders in academic institutions, industry, government, and professional bodies
Communicate the project and related activities in verbal and written form to diverse forums, including conferences, update meetings with academic and industry partners.
Provide advanced training and mentoring to students and other research staff within the team, and as directed by the Principal Investigator

JOB REQUIREMENT
- A PhD in biological sciences, or a related field and have knowledge of aging, senescence and skin biology.
- Highly motivated individual to drive research projects at the intersection of fundamental biology and industry.
- Creative individual with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading a project and achieving project milestones and KPIs on time within budget and scope.
- Track record in development, execution and management of academic projects.
- Experience in the supervision and mentoring of junior scientists.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- High level written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and submissions.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including the ability to clearly consult and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
