**DESCRIPTION**:
Junior Chemical Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of chemical processes involved in offshore operations, including the extraction, processing, and management of chemicals in oil and gas production. Junior Chemical Engineer will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of chemical processes on offshore platforms.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in the design and optimization of chemical processes used in offshore oil and gas extraction and processing.
- Ensure that technical compliance with all design requirements.
- Support the management and control of chemical inventories and assist in the preparation of chemicals used in offshore production
- Produce technical documents, reports and presentations detailing the findings of investigations under the guidance of Project Engineer or Engineering Manager.
- Field engineering support during construction phase of the project.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of offshore industry regulations, standards, and new technologies.
- Commissioning and start-up support.
- Achieve safety standards as defined in project requirements
- Assist in preparation for bid submission to client, with compliant technical documentation.
- Attend technical meetings, and minutes down the meeting, if required.
- Participate in risk assessments and safety audits related to chemical processes and equipment.
- Keep track of relevant discipline tasks.
- Comply with environmental impact assessment and safety-related design requirements.
- Documentation in accordance with Company’s quality management system.
- Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices, and understand and follow HSE procedures.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Management.

- OHS Hazardous & Risk Assessment.
- Follow HSE Regulations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor or Master of Engineering Degree (Chemical or related disciplines).
- 0-2 years of experience in a chemical engineering or related role. Any internships or hands-on projects in process design, chemical plants, or lab research are beneficial.
- Aptitude and attitude to learn and experience marine engineering requirements, software tools, and other technical issues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- Familiarity with chemical process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, ChemCAD) is a plus.
- Previous use of AutoCAD or other 2D / 3D software will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass/energy balances, and chemical reaction engineering.
