Senior / Research Engineer (Sludge)

Leader is a high-tech environmental technology provider listed on SGX. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work closely with our research team to design, build and operate our proprietary sludge management system.
In this role, you will be involved with the complete sludge project and be responsible for meeting the project objectives and timeline. You will help to prepare and evaluate detailed design documents such as PID, PFD, etc., contact, evaluate, and finalize the contractor to install the sludge system in the project site, lead the operator team to finish the commissioning and routing operation of sludge system, communicate with the research team about the research development, prepare the project progress report/PPT, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and evaluate the project design documents such as PID, PFD, equipment and instrument lists, energy balance, and mass balance
- Lead project contractors in installation of the sludge system
- Lead operations team to perform the commissioning and routine operation
- Prepare project documents such as progress reports and PPTs, etc Other work activities assigned by the project lead engineer
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- **Min 2 years experience in sludge treatment or wastewater treatment is required**:
- Previous site project experience with PUB is preferable.
- Skill in AutoCAD is required
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills, with good communication skills
- Good team player who can work independently
