**Job Descriptions**:

- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Logistics team ensuring objectives are met and the team is operating at an effective level
- Monitor, adjust, plan and instigate changes to the logistics operations to eliminate delays and minimize demurrage costs ensuring efficient inbound and outbound deliveries
- Oversee and control the movement, distribution and storage of stocks through demand planning and forecasting of inventory levels by collaborating with relevant departments to effectively communicate to the logistics team and plan operational requirements
- Control and authorize all activities such as logistic budgets, incoming and outgoing receipts, plant operations, plant improvements, quality control, safety, environmental and personnel utilization
- Communicate the logistics department's weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the Operations Manager to ensure alignment of logistics operations with the Operations strategy and objectives
- Act as a focal point for all external parties and negotiate with logistics partners to achieve cost-effective solutions in terms of transportation, services and inventory to improve on day to day logistics operations
- Monitor and ensure all issues relating to breaches in standards, discipline and procedures are controlled and resolved effectively
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Ethics & Compliance and Food Safety (if applicable) policies
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Operation Manager or General Manager

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of working experience in logistics and transportation with a sound knowledge of local ports and terminals is required for this position
- A team player with and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, possess a solid problem-solving skills
- Practical communication skills - verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal skills to relate cordially with different classes of people
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary**: $2,900.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Ability to Relocate:

- Singapore 637338: Relocate before starting work (required)
