Keppel Group Digital Office drive the exploration and adoption of new ideas, technologies and initiatives across the group. We marry human centred design principles with technology to catalyse and support positive change in how business units across the group operate.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
- Build ETL pipelines, perform data manipulations and analytics, and work closely with business analyst and data scientist roles.- Work closely with all stakeholders to understand data structures in source systems.- Enhance data model at target data warehouse based to facilitate business intelligence and data science activities.- Design data integrations and data quality frameworks to support communication between multiple systems and business units.- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.- Create and maintain documentation.
Learning Outcomes:
- Experience of working in real-life projects which affects the revenue & profit of a multi-national company.- Experience of working in a multi-cultural team.- End to end understanding of Implementing a Data Project starting from pain point discovery to user feedback.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field.- Hands-on experience with SQL database design.- Technical expertise with data modelling.- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python and R).- Knowledge of data integration and data warehousing frameworks.- Familiarity of Snowflake is a big plus.- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Power Bi, Tableau, etc,) is a plus.- Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake) is a plus.
