Job Scope:

- Design, review and maintain database systems
- Database administration and operation
- Test and evaluate the system regularly to ensure the highest level of data security privacy and integrity
- Ensure the highest level of database system and infrastructure availability
- Design backup and recovery process to ensure availability of database services
- Database capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning
- Perform installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting for the database and database infrastructure
- Support and perform database account management and periodic user account review
- Generate reports through queries
- Provide production database support
- Design and develop reports / dashboards (with Business Intelligent tool)
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- Possess minimum 2 years’ experience in Database Administration / Database Maintenance / Database Management / Data Warehouse
- Familiar with database with High-Availability configuration, partitioning design, TDE & Column-Level encryption and implementing security standards to secure critical environments
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
- Knowledge of operational and analytical, visualization, relational and multi-dimensional database architectures
- Ability to write complex SQL queries with MS SQL related technologies including T-SQL, stored procedures and database design
- Proficiency in MS SQL, DB2 and / or MySQL
- Good analytical and problem-solving skill
- Good communication and presentation skill
