Role 1:
Database Administrator (Up to 6.8K) (CBD)

Job Scope:

- Design, review and maintain database system
- Database administration and operation
- Test and evaluate the system regularly to ensure the highest level of data security privacy and integrity
- Ensure the highest level of database systems and infrastructure availability
- Design backup and recovery process to ensure availability of database services
- Database capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning
- Perform installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting for the database and database infrastructure
- Support and perform database account management and periodic user account review
- Generate reports through queries
- Provide production database support
- Design and develop reports / dashboards (with Business Intelligent tool)
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**Requirements**:

- Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- Possess minimum 4 - 6 years’ experience in Database Administration in database setup, configuration and fine tuning
- Proficiency in MySQL is mandatory
- Prior experience in MS SQL and DB2 is advantageous
- Familiar with database with High-Availability configuration, partitioning design, TDE & Column-Level encryption and implementing security standards to secure critical environments
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions
- Knowledge of operational and analytical, visualization, relational and multi-dimensional database architectures
- Ability to write complex SQL queries with MS SQL related technologies including T-SQL, stored procedures and database design
- Good analytical and problem-solving skill
- Good communication and presentation skill
Role 2:
Database Administrator (Up to 10K) (Woodlands)

Job Scope:

- Install, patch, maintain and monitor MySQL databases
- Monitor, Database backup, recovery and verify backups
- Provide maintenance support for database systems.
- Data Extraction, transformation, and loading
- Perform routine security and authentication measures
- Database tuning and troubleshooting
- Capacity Planning
**Requirements**:

- PostgreSQL DB administration is an added advantage
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in supporting MySQL
- Good knowledge of MYSQL architecture
- Knowledge on MYSQL replication Master-Master and Master slave and troubleshooting
- Must have knowledge of setting MYSQL clustering, tuning, troubleshooting
- Must have good knowledge of Performance tuning of MYSQL databases.
- Must have good knowledge of MYSQL database up-gradation
- Installation and configuration of MYSQL on Linux
- Understanding MYSQL Backup & Recovery.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

- Ability to organize and plan work independently.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
