Graphic Designer/illustrator

**Who we are**:
Established in 2019, Automata Network is also a part of Substrate Builders Program, Web3 Foundation Grants Program, Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator, as well as industry organizations including Rust Foundation, and League of Entropy. The project has also secured multi-million funding support from top investors in early 2021.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _**2D/3D Visuals / KV’s**:_Conceptualize and develop visually compelling, on-brand illustrations and visuals to populate our blog posts, websites and other media;
- _**Media Design**:_ Conceptualize, design, and animate assets as part of the marketing plan. This includes icons, social media graphics, GIFs, and infographics;
- _**Motion Graphics**_:_ Design and produce engaging motion graphics and edit high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- _**Brand Identity**:_ Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand identity across all owned channels;
- _**Product Development**:_ Provide resources for landing pages and microsites while keeping in mind good practices of UX/UI & brand identity;
- _**Brand Management**:_ Create and manage all brand collateral including logos, presentations and pitch decks for internal reference and external use;
- _**Trend Research**:_ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table;
- _**Feedback and Iteration**:_ Accept feedback gracefully and iteratively refine designs to meet project requirements and end-result expectations;
- _**Collaboration**:_ Work cross-functionally to support the Marketing and Developer team;

- _**Creativity**:_ A strong ability to think creatively and deliver fresh, visually appealing and up-to-date design concepts;
- _**Graphic Design Expertise**:_ A deep understanding of design principles and proficiency in graphic design software & tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc; (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others)
- _**Motion Graphics**:_ Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software;
- _**Communication**:_ Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and understand project requirements;
- _**Attention to Detail**:_ A meticulous approach to design, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all materials delivered;
- _**Time Management**:_ Excellent time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently;
- _**Problem-Solving**:_ The ability to identify design challenges and develop / deliver creative solutions.

**Standout Skills**:

- _**Web3-Savvy**:_ Familiarity with blockchain / cryptocurrency and the existing ecosystem;
- _**Code-Aware**:_ Prior knowledge about coding languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript), its limitations, and the delivery of visual elements optimized for code usage;
- _**UX/UI Conscious**:_ Prior experience with UX/UI principles and good practices;
- _**Media Copywriting**:_ A strong track record of communicating ideas through exciting and engaging texts, demonstrating the ability to craft persuasive and engaging copy that resonates with the target audience.

**Requirements**:

- **Location: Singapore**
- _**Area Experience**:_ At least 1 year of relevant work experience in media design, digital/web design or illustration role positions;
- _**Portfolio**:_ A robust portfolio demonstrating your design skills and technical abilities in digital visual communication, showcasing a variety of projects and design styles.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
