[What the role is]

The 3P Network Division (3PND) of NEA develops and integrates educational and publicity initiatives and programmes for the 3P (People, Public, Private) sectors. This ensures greater synergy and effectiveness in our outreach programmes to promote greater environmental sustainability. Through the planning and organising of partnership programmes and activities/events, 3PND aims to raise awareness of environmental issues in the community and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to take ownership of the environment.

The Programmes and Partnerships Department (PPAD) develops, plans and implements NEA’s national flagship engagement programmes, such as Clean & Green Singapore. PPAD also engages stakeholder groups such as non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and corporates to help move the wider community towards environmental ownership and sustainability, and encourage ground-up initiatives.

[What you will be working on]

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Build, empower and manage a network of key partners from the 3P sectors, identify and initiate collaborations to facilitate environmental outreach and partnership projects to sustain a clean and green environment.
- Management of stakeholders (e.g. partners, vendors, etc.) to ensure smooth business operations and management of expectations.
- Support the planning and organisation of divisional campaigns, events, and projects (e.g. Clean and Green Singapore, Migrant Workers Outreach, etc.).
- Project management including coordination and completion of projects within stipulated timeline.
- Budget management across allocated projects and ensure proper tracking of expenditures.
- Assist in administration and procurement matters.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

[What we are looking for]
- Preferably with at least two years of working experience in outreach, engagement and partnerships. Experience working with corporate and NGO partners would be an advantage.
- Experience in conceptualising and implementing initiatives, events management, vendor management and working with partners from 3P sectors.
- Keen interest in public health (e.g. dengue prevention, public toilet cleanliness, etc), and other stakeholder engagement.
- Possess a passion for working with the community and an aptitude for engaging with the public, especially with corporate and NGO sector.
- Possess strong project management skills and the ability to achieve deliverables within specified milestones.
- Excellent writing, communication, facilitation and marketing skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- An outgoing and good team player who enjoys communicating and working with others.
- Organised and able to multi-task with attention to the details.
- Prior knowledge or education on environmental management would be an added advantage.
