In order to support our team and strengthen the growth of our APAC business, we are looking for a **Senior International Consultant - Health and Benefits**

**What can you expect?**

- Contribute to the team’s commercial success in the creation and delivery of international consulting solutions that span across the various lines of business of Mercer.

- Support key multinational clients across Asia/APMEA, helping them on their strategic agendas on benefits, employee experience and engagement.

**We will count on you to**:
Develop a strong network of relationships, internally working in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders including the regional consulting team, country brokers, country retirement teams, cross line of business functions, global international consulting group teams; externally building network and partnership with insurers and 3rd party service providers.

**Manage regional consulting projects**
- Play a key role across a wide variety of regional consulting projects such as:

- ad hoc multi-country projects (such as benefits benchmarking, benefit review, benefit harmonization, cost projections, flexible benefits, employee perceptions)
- benefit and well-being strategy and implementation (such as global minimum standard of care, mental and financial well-being strategy and execution, digital healthcare);
- employee health data analytics and health intervention program design;
- retirement governance and advisory;
- Proactively manage timelines, act as project manager and ensure that all stakeholders are kept updated with information in a timely fashion
- Attend internal and client meetings (as necessary) to provide guidance.

**Identify, drive and support innovative first-to-market initiatives**
- Opportunity to work and support the development of forward thinking offerings
- Identify and have knowledge of health and retirement trends in the market
- Be a key contributor in developing these initiatives
- Develop vendor partnerships with clear value-add to our wellbeing, health and retirement offerings
- Prepare internal and client facing decks
- Be able to showcase employee benefit trends
- Understand client challenges and be client-centric

**Business development**
- Build a pipeline by active promotion of our value propositions both internally and externally
- Support in all business development-related activities

**What you need to have**:

- At least 10 years of consulting experience in Health, Global/Regional Benefits and/or in Employee Benefits.
- University graduate from an analytical and business management program (preferably Mathematics, Business management, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Strong domain knowledge in corporate retirement, or employee health and well-being.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and client management experience.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with ability to understand statistics and data driven decision making.
- Ability to visualize and interpret trends, create and analyze analytics reports, and “story tell” effectively.
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong market research skills and ability to absorb market knowledge effectively.
- Strong learning agility with critical and logical thinking capabilities.
- Resourceful team player who can manage tight timelines and deliver client projects for multiple markets across Asia.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and readiness to actively contribute to a collaborative, innovative team culture.
- Ability to envision and take advantage of business opportunities in a global and regional capacity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
