**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily manpower deployment
- Execute site inspection and work discussion
- Prepare and develop, in conjunction with Project Engineer, own scope of work within project, identify system/equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions to be undertaken and intervention schedule
- Keen coordination with Engineer / Supervisor / Project Manager for equipment, manpower and other resources
- Drive and monitor full compliance throughout trades team
- Ensuring the implementation of quality and safety procedures & policies, production reliability & efficiency.
- Prepare Job Acceptance on completion of Jobs
- Supervise mechanical works
- Oversee and lead a team for maintenance and overhauling jobs, including mechanical
- Understand HSE requirements, local regulation, and contractual obligations
- Conduct troubleshooting of defects on mechanical system and equipment onboard vessels
- Assist Mechanical Engineer in coordinating and supervising maintenance / overhauling jobs
- Arrange for inspection / job acceptance
- Conduct Acceptance tests or trials on overhauled or repaired equipment
- Ensure equipment installation and alignment as per project requirements.
- Strategize and coordinate with customers and suppliers on works to be carried out
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor work schedule
- Able to read and interpret drawings.
- Prepare lifting plans and give advance notice for material requirements and resources.
- Obtain hot-work permit and entry into confirmed space permits or any other work permit system.
- Ensure preservation of equipment are carried out as per project requirements and well-maintained as per individual maintenance schedules
- Conduct of inspection, testing and repair of commissioning equipment under the maintenance team.
- Maintain proper documentation and records, to assist in evaluation, review of procedures, manual or investigate accidents and incidents.
- Liaise with customers on works to be carried out
- Any other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Trade Certificate / Diploma / Degree holders
- At least 3years of work experience.
- Preferably with Marine and shipyard experience & knowledge
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
