Are you an aspiring Data Scientist ready to make a difference in the world of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance? We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our SaaS company and play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge models to address red flags and ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations. If you have a passion for data analysis, a strong foundation in machine learning, and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AML and KYC compliance challenges
- Utilize advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to interpret data and uncover actionable insights, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop and fine-tune machine learning models that effectively address red flag issues related to AML and KYC compliance
- Prepare and present clear and concise findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated and understood
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data analysis, machine learning, and AML/KYC compliance regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and machine learning languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex insights effectively to diverse audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- A proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges, demonstrating a growth mindset
- Prior experience or internships in data analysis or data science are a plus, particularly in the context of AML and KYC compliance
- Knowledge and experience in developing machine learning models for red flag detection in AML and KYC processes would be highly advantageous
