IT Infrastructure Lead

**Position Summary**

The IT Infrastructure Lead will be a member of the Technology unit in NETS and will primarily be working with the Head of Infrastructure to be jointly responsible for the IT Infrastructure-Network & Operations function in NETS which includes Data Center infrastructure (servers, storage, facilities, networking & appliances), Network Engineering, Cloud Platform management, DevOps and Database Administration.

You will co-develop and implement IT operating policies, strategies and tactics, setting the direction to the methodologies, tools and frameworks used in infrastructure design while building strong partnerships with key stakeholders from a strategic and operational perspective to ensure alignment with business requirements and expectations in the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To jointly put in place relevant technology policies and procedures with the Head of Infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of technology platforms, information security, regulatory and compliance such as TRMG and PSN06.
- Track and perform tech refresh for infra and network peripherals which are supporting highly critical payment infrastructure.
- Establish, maintain and implement baseline security standards for infra-network peripherals.
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all Infrastructure Systems and areas, including network, data, hardware, services, security, etc.
- Provide leadership for the delivery of 24/7 service operations, establishing metrics, KPIs, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations.
- Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery infrastructure architecture is maintained in accordance with business needs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, especially other Technology departments, to define Infrastructure Support initiatives and solutions for accurate and consistent service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide oversight for effective management of data center operations including production planning, change controls, archiving, capacity planning, etc.
- Provide stewardship to co-lead a team of Infrastructure Server, Storage, Database and Network Engineers who with others define, manage and support the entire Infrastructure operations for the organization.
- Ensure timely resolution of any day-to-day production issues among the team’s portfolio of Infrastructure Systems in accordance with agreed internal & external SLAs.
- Set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables to the team, providing timely feedback, coaching, whilst maintaining a constant channel of communication.
- Ensure that all team members are performing at a high level to meet the needs of the organization, collecting feedback to support the objective assessment of individual and team performance.
- Provide project management oversight and guidance to teams, whether projects are internally staffed or managed via 3rd party vendors, to ensure that projects are delivered to scope, timeline and budget.
- Participate in IT strategic planning, project planning and budget planning efforts.
- Manage external vendors & suppliers in terms of their deliverables while establishing and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships.
- Analyze technology trends and develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery processes designed for agility and cost effectiveness.Plan and track annual budgets for department expenditures.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science or related technology disciplines; with equivalent business experience and 8+ years of progressive working experience in medium to large organizations.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in managing a complex production environment in infrastructure preferably in a ‘Run The Business’ division within the banking industry.
- Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including areas in capacity, redundancy, monitoring, highly available server, and network architecture.
- Strong process, quality assurance, incident, problem management, as well as experience in vendor management and support outsourcing arrangements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism through interactions with stakeholders across all levels.
- Experienced in implementing Singapore payments industry regulatory requirements and cyber hygiene practices.
- Experienced in executing large scale Tech Refresh/migration/DC setup projects.
- Strong knowledge in automation or scripting such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Terraform
