Senior Process Engineer

Serve as the system owner of plant automation, process design and equipment solutions. Responsible to fully understand the process logic and serve as a coach/mentor to operations personnel for transfer of knowledge.
- Equipment / process control system troubleshooting and documentation of corrections and change control activities
- Design and implement modifications of compounding processes and manufacturing equipment that will improve the operational efficiencies.
- Design, install, and validate the automation solutions that integrate with SCADA systems.
- Ensure oversight of plant processes to assure operation of those under state of control and stability.
- Identify and implement CI solutions on a recurring basis to achieve at minimum 50K SGD savings on an annual basis (amount stated is a guideline).
- Lead small capital / expense project, manage project budget, create schedule, provide deliverables, and complete project in a timely manner.
- Create and/or revise related Software Design specifications (SDS), Functional Specifications (FS), Hardware Design specifications (HDS) and Standard Operating Procedures as needed for new/existing equipment.
- Manages external contractors/vendors and provide clear guidance to the team for technical solution, repair, improvement, and business processes.
- Lead troubleshooting and technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and process automation systems including PI data analyses, CIP/SIP cycle review, code review/troubleshooting, etc.
- Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Create change control document for implementing GMP changes
- Follow safety and environmental rules for all project execution and change control.
- Lifecycle management for Manufacturing equipment, systems, and process instrumentation.
Interfaces - Coordinate/support other departments to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Provide technical advice to manufacturing departments
- Transfer front line lower level maintenance and equipment knowledge to production operators
- Capability to interface with the Quality department concerning project work and change control documentation
