We are currently looking for a Upstream Process Engineer to join us on a permanent role to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Attributes/Responsibilities

  • Support and Lead Manufacturing Process set-up and improvements for upstream processes – including by not limited to fermentation, grinder, ultra-filtration, centrifuge etc.

  • Leading investigations to determine root causes and implementing action plans to address or prevent recurrence.

  • Planning and executing process improvement and robustness initiatives.

  • Managing change controls as a change owner for process modifications, including conducting impact assessments for relevant changes.

  • Evaluating new manufacturing technologies or equipment to improve processes or build new capabilities.

  • Planning and executing technical transfer activities in alignment with project timelines, and raising change controls as needed to support the transfer.

  • Monitoring process performance and trends through the CPV program, proactively investigating any issues to ensure process stability.

  • Conducting risk assessments, drafting necessary technical transfer and process control strategy documents, and updating lifecycle documentation.

  • Authoring study and process validation protocols and reports when required.
