The animal nutrition industry in APAC and China is highly dynamic and diverse, presenting significant opportunities for dsm-firmenich to further grow and extend its value proposition to customers. In developed markets the industry is consolidating, customer needs are becoming increasingly sophisticated around services, data and digital offerings driven by both economic and sustainability drivers and competition is intensifying. In emerging markets demand for animal protein is increasing and the industry is professionalizing, creating an opportunity for leading players to capture share. It is in this context that the Manager, Marketing & Business Development Swine will play a key role in shaping the Swine business in China and APAC, in a way that extends DSM’s ability to offer premium nutritional solutions and value-added services and positions dsm-firmenich as a leader in the pursuit of more sustainable swine production in China and APAC.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Deeply understands local species markets, customer needs and business drivers. Co-develops the species strategy in alignment with the local markets and global
- Interacts with local markets to align priorities and to develop species activation plans. Engages in account development activities with local key accounts
- Identifies opportunities to combine products, services and know-how into differentiated nutrition & health solutions. Develops differentiated solution concepts substantiated by technical data and convincing argumentation
- Packages solutions into unique value propositions and sales-enabling material. Executes species campaigns and activation plans with the local sales teams
- Manages local species expert community and executing training and knowledge sharing
- Owns and project manages species-driven innovation projects and regional

**You bring**
- Strong technical, nutritional and health background in swine
- DVM in Swine health or PhD in Swine nutrition/management/physiology or related fields
- Business background and interest in commercial business development. Familiarity with marketing concepts, tools and practices in a technical, solution selling environment
- A sense of ownership, delivering results that matter and contribute significantly to our success. Focus on impact, driving innovation and positive change through your creativity and expertise
- A commitment to teamwork, fostering collaboration and respecting diverse perspectives
