**Responsibilities**
As part of the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) unit, you will be assisting the Head of TAS and eventually trained to manage a wide range of client engagements that are relevant to Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and Management consulting.
Transaction advisory service
- Financial Due Diligence
- Business Valuation (including PL/CF projection)
- M&A Integration service (mainly business and accounting process integration)
- Buy-side & sell-side advisory (mainly execution but including sourcing)
Management consulting
- Market entry and business development in South East Asia
- Turnaround and Restructuring consulting
- Strategic planning (including market research)
- Exposure not only Singapore market, but also ASEAN countries, India, and other high growth region, as well as exposure to diverse industries based on various consulting engagements.
- Exposure to top management of clients and to understand their issues, and support closely decision-making process
- Be a core member of a rapidly growing team, with a promising career potential as future senior management of the company.
**Requirements for the position**
- 2 to 3 years of experience in M&A transactions (financial due diligence and/or valuation) or other corporate finance related functions.
- Accounting / finance background (bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study).
- Business level Japanese language proficiency (N2 and above) is highly advantageous, as the work requires communication with Japan team members and clients.
- Exceptional team-player; willingness to prioritize team responsibilities and proactively consult team members where necessary.
- Possesses strong writing, communication, and presentation skills in order to prepare deliverables for submission to clients and contribute ideas in team discussions.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to present solutions to complex problems in a logical and step-by-step manner.
- Open-mindedness and flexibility to tackle new never-seen-before problems as a team.
- Pleasant personality with a strong willingness to learn.
**Nice to haves**
- [On track for] Professional certifications - CPA, CFA, CVA etc.
- Working experience in a professional services firm.
