**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** |**About the role**
Primarily responsible for solving technical business needs of partner and/or end user by providing presales support (presentations, demos, POCs, proposal writing, compliance table and product briefings)
**As the Channel Sales Engineer, you will**:
- Primarily responsible for solving technical business needs of partner and/or end user by providing presales support (presentations, demos, POCs, proposal writing, compliance table and product briefings)
- Develop working proficiency on products and technologies through self-directed and formal training
- Responsible for qualifying requests for POC
- Set POC objectives with customer based on:
- Target loan duration of 2 weeks
- To drive POC for expected closure within the same quarter
- Independently present vendors solution to end users during the first customer meeting with the exception of:
- C-level audience is present
- CIO/CTO/Technical Evaluators are involved in first meeting
- Strategic named accounts where vendors have indicated they want to be engaged from start of opportunity
- Managing key partners for the line of business with the Product Manager(s)
- Provide updates and training to partners from time to time.
- Developing un-named end user accounts and partners / resellers jointly identified with Product Manager(s)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners SE team, acting as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their technical goals.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**|**About you**
**The ideal Channel Sales Engineer**:
- Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Studies or equivalent
- Min 3 years hands on experience in deployment and troubleshooting complex multi-vendor network issues in LAN and WAN networks
- Strong knowledge of security and networking infrastructure environments, including SOAR platforms (e.g., Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, IBM Resilient).
- Experience with SOAR technologies: Demonstrated experience in the architecture, deployment, and use of SOAR platforms, including building playbooks and automation for incident response, threat hunting, and operational workflows.
- Strong understanding of SOC operations: Familiarity with security incident response processes and the role SOAR solutions play in automating and streamlining SOC workflows.
- Proficiency in API integrations: Experience in integrating various security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Threat Intelligence platforms) with SOAR solutions.
- Process good analytical, communication and interpersonal skill
- Self motivate, independent and ability to multi-task
- Continuous relevant certifications by respective products is required
