**Summary**
- Manage aircraft payments ensuring that rent, maintenance rental and delivery payments are processed on time.
- Handling of insurance claims submissions, compile underwriting information for submission to insurance brokers
- Budgeting and forecasting activities, and support ongoing system enhancements to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.

**Aircraft and insurance**
Managing aircraft leases (including rent, maintenance reserves invoice verifications / claims), provide support to Legal and Engineering teams on lease-related matters
Verify and check aircraft pre-delivery and final-delivery invoices from Airbus and Boeing against contractual rates, ensuring payment is duly processed prior to each aircraft's delivery, and providing support to Legal, Engineering, Corporate Planning teams.
Maintaining fleet profile, ensuring that data is kept up to date
Handling of insurance claims submitted by internal stakeholders
Monitoring on claim statuses and ensure timely settlement by insurer/reinsurers
Gather and review relevant data from multiple departments within Scoot; compile underwriting information for submission to insurance brokers
Review of contracts - financial / insurance related clauses

**Management Reporting**:

- Forecast / Budget
Assist Business Units (BUs) in drawing a comprehensive budget by validating assumptions and ensuring all costs are accounted for to support accurate financial planning for the upcoming year or periods
Consolidate all submissions and prepare for management's review
Address queries from BUs related to expenditure accounting, providing guidance and clarification as needed
Explain variances between actual / forecast / budget

**Projects**
Supporting the ongoing system implementation / enhancements

**Job Requirements**
Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Prior experiences with Netsuite, Workday Adaptive Planning a plus
Good inter-personal and communication skills.
Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure.
Well organized and meticulous
Proactive and able to adapt to a fast paced environment
Good team player
