**Job Description**:
The role reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for leading the Financial Planning & Analysis for General Mills SEA Business across strategy, planning and decision support.

This will involve
- Co-pilot role, directly partnering with the SEA Commercial Leader in delivering both short and long-term commitments of the business
- Influence business decisions cross-functionally to drive value-maximization
- Lead the annual operating plan / budgeting process and the strategic business long range planning process
- Develop monthly 12/24 month rolling forecast with cross functional teams
- Provide decision support and shared accountability for brand/market P&L’s
- Monthly business review and on-going tracking
- Development of team and performance objectives
- Lead continuous improvement in process and systems

**Key aspects of the role**

Strategy
- Support in leading and influencing the long-range strategy setting, including business development and portfolio management
- Provide financial insight and business ‘sense’ to formulated draft plans.

Planning & Analysis
- Drive analysis and insights and turn them into business actions
- Support in leading the annual Spring Plan (budget) and monthly budgeting process
- Provide financial support to the Commercial team in ensuring achievement of financial targets, proactive engagement in risks and opportunities assessment and influence business actions to address them
- Assume responsibility for month end results including detailed review, presentation to commercial director, regional leadership with focus on action plans to sustain/improve results
- Lead ROI methodology to ensure accurate budget allocation, including post evaluation of initiatives

Networking
- Create an environment in which the business can maximise networking, internally and externally, to exploit business opportunities - this will involve liaisons with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, larger International Finance and Data & Technology teams
- Provide the focal point for Finance in relationships with external third party service providers

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Preferably FMCG background with at least 8-10 years working closely with Commercial Sales and Marketing teams
- Leadership experience across a variety of brands/products/operations
- Good grasp of business dynamics, with exposure to Operations, Supply Chain as well as Sales and Marketing
- Excellent analytical and business skills
- Past involvement at a senior level in managing key business projects
- Past experience in developing ‘added value’ improvements in business processes, analytical techniques or commercial systems
- Passionate, driven by quality and achieving results, high level of integrity
- Proactive and results driven
