**Role Scepe**:

- To create, foster and maintain client relationships that will maximise benefits to both the clients and the company in the Metals commodity trading environment;
- To assist the traders & marketers in their role of trading derivative instrucments on behalf of the Company in the most effective manner possible within all Company policies and protocols on risk, credit and exposures;
- Jobholder to maintain/obtain all qualifications required by any relevant regulator to allow him/her to do the job.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Actively seekand on-board potential new clients on behalf of the Company in Asia-Pacific Region;
- Assist the traders in all aspects of Front Office Trading with a focus on marketing;
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and market counterparts;
- Lean to undertake commodities trading activities when required in accordance with instructions and orders received through the company systems;
- Maintain knowledge of LME (London Metal Exchange), CME and SGX markets covering pricing, fundamentals of demand and supply, and other influences on these markets, sharing this knowledge with the business as required;
- Administer clients, active and proposed, within the company franchise especially within the Asia-Pacific time zone to satisfy the needs of the Company;
- Work with the Company's support functions for Asia Clients;
- To ensure compliance with any regulatory requirements needed to perform main duties & responsibilities;
- To provide information as required for management upon request;
- To at all times adhere to the Individual Conduct Rules and the Company Values; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Person Specification**:

- Educated to degree level or suitable equivalent;
- Basic understanding of commodity derivatives would desireable;
- Advanced Excel Skills;
- Excellent numeracy skills;
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience of building relationships;
- Team player with self-initiative; and
- Able to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
