Redstone Commodity Search are working with a well-established brokerage looking to hire a base metals and battery metals broker to join their LME forwards team. Key Responsibilities Trade futures spread in base metal and battery metals ensuring optimal execution for clients while managing risk and market exposure. Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional clients offering tailored advice on hedging, market trends, and trading strategies to meet their financial and commodity needs. Identify and connect buyers and sellers of base metals and battery metal futures ensuring smooth transactions. Oversee the entire transaction process, coordinating with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth deal completion. Role reports to the LME forwards team. Key Qualifications / Experience Minimum 4+ years of experience in commodity broking/ trading, with a focus on base metals, battery metals, or related financial products. In-depth understanding of base and battery metals (e.g., copper, aluminium, cobalt, lithium, etc.) including their market dynamics, supply chains, and price drivers. Commodity markets knowledge particularly futures, forwards, and swaps, along with a strong understanding of trading platforms like LME or CME. Ability to maintain and grow relationships with institutional clients, traders, and other stakeholders.
