Ryde started as a ride-sharing platform that matches drivers with riders going the same way to share a ride (RydePool), but we haven’t stopped there. We have established extended product services to include an e-payment platform (RydePay), taxi booking and insurance purchase. We are continuously building features that benefit everyone.

We are looking for a dynamic **Business Intelligence & Analytics Associate**. This role will be exposed to many moving parts of Ryde and will be a critical, strategic thought partner, working across the company to drive value. You will leverage data, build models, communicate insights, and execute best practices to streamline and optimize processes during a high-growth period.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve an array of complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment.
- Dive deep into different areas of our operations to improve decisions and processes.
- Proactively identify and implement cross-departmental solutions to help scale our business.
- Conduct analysis of our current ops strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve processes using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Provide deep analytic support and business context to identify and drive critical growth initiatives.
- Partner with functions including finance, tech, operations, and marketing to support our growth.
- Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate them.

**Qualifications & Skills Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Applied Mathematics.
- At least 2 years of experience in a hands-on analytical environment.
- Good knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools such Tableau and PowerBI.
- Proficient in Python and R programming languages.
- Intermediate knowledge of databases such as SQL.
- Advanced level in MS Excel & Google Sheets is essential.
- Experience working cross-functionally with limited oversight.
- Experience thriving when under pressure and multi-tasking.
- Critical thinker with strong communication skills.
