Key Responsibilities:

- Development of CVD diamond growth using Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition (MPCVD).
- Develop CVD diamond growth process to achieve high thermal conductivity film.
- Develop CVD diamond lapping, polishing and laser cutting.
- Evaluate the thermal, structural, and optical properties of the grown film.
- Thorough analysis of the results and publish in high impact factor scientific journals.
- Assist in commissioning of MPCVD system.
- Independent handling of the project to meet the deliverables timely.
- Writing project proposal and technical reports to the funding agencies.
- Support PhD students research projects.

Job Requirements:

- PhD in Engineering /Physics, with minimum 5 years of relevant research experience beyond the PhD degree.
- Practical experience in CVD diamond growth systems such as MPCVD.
- Direct experience on CVD diamond growth would be an advantage.
- Self-driven and motivated person who is a good team player.
- Fluent in English and competent writing skills.
- Strong publications record would be preferred
