**The Opportunity**:
The Opentext Professional Services team is comprised of more than 3,000 consultants who act as trusted advisors, managing long-lasting relationships with more than 100,000 customers around the world. They are responsible for the delivery of business solutions from pre-sales to post implementation. Our teams of experts help organizations solve issues, create value, improve business performance, and work more effectively in an increasingly digital world.

**What You Are Great At**:

- Understands the customer business requirements, makes design choices and develops solutions that meets the requirements using appropriate features of OpenText Enterprise Information Management solution suite.
- Takes ownership of code quality. Actively and effectively reviews source code, takes defect prevention steps in software development.
- Provides high level work estimates and assists in task planning & task allocation.
- Passionate about new technologies/innovations happening around. Constantly upgrades knowledge on latest technologies and standards.
- Should be able to describe customer requirements technically and should be able to build quick proof of concepts.
- Act as a team leader during implementation phase.
- Maintain close working relationship with the customer.
- Able to conceptualize and build high quality demos for marketing or analyst briefings, pre-sales opportunities.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 7 years working experience in a developer or consulting capacity, preferably with a professional services organization.
- Knowledge of the existing OpenText product portfolio, associated technologies and standards is highly desirable esp. Opentext Teamsite, OpenText LiveSite, Opentext Media Management
- Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a flair for clearly documenting design choices or technical decisions made
- As a technical leader, should be able to influence others in the team by clearly articulating the reasons and providing justifications for technical decisions made.
- Database skills, SQL, Triggers/Stored Procedures and working experience with any of well-known database (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or MySQL)
- Working hands-on knowledge of Hyperscalers like AWS, GCP, Azure is highly desirable and shall be given preference
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and similar orchestration platforms
- Possess technical knowledge on:

- Java Scripts, SOAP, REST, Web Services, HTML5, XML/XSL
- Single Page Applications, Progressive Web Apps
- Service Oriented Architecture
- W3C standards
- Platforms (.Net, Java, J2EE)
- Web 2.0 technologies, Frameworks like Angular 2
- HTML Frameworks - Bootstrap, Foundation
- Knowledge on Web Servers and Application Servers
- Software Testing tools, JUnit, QTP, Load Runner, etc.
- Software Configuration Management and deployment, ANT, Version Control tools, CICD etc.
- Software development methodologies
