**About this role**:
We are looking for a data-driven, collaborative, and experienced digital marketer who has hands-on experience running paid campaigns through global channels and tactics such as Facebook, Instagram, Paid search, YouTube, Affiliate, and influencer marketing. As a key member of global consumer business, you will be responsible for Japan's marketing budget and performance in partnership with Udemy global marketing organization and our local strategic partner, Benesse Corporation. The Consumer Marketing Manager is a full time position based in Singapore and Tokyo and this person will own the creation, optimization, execution, and reporting of Udemy's consumer advertising campaigns in Japan, with a focus on the paid channels.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work with the Global Paid Marketing team, creative team and data science team to develop and implement digital campaigns for Japan market to achieve marketing objectives such as branding, user growth, and engagement
- Lead execution and optimization of digital campaigns by using global ad platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Rakuten Linkshare.
- Collaborate with internal design, social, promo and brand teams to create and test ads, landing pages, and strategy

**What you'll have**:

- 5+ years hands-on experience in digital marketing experience (agency and/or in-house) such as Google Ads (Paid search, YouTube) and Meta Ads Manager
- 2+ years of consumer marketing experience
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Self-directed and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
- Affiliate marketing experience is plus
- Must be fluent in Japanese and English
