The Asia Pacific region for CooperVision has been growing rapidly and a strong contributor to the ongoing success of the global business. The South-East Asia (SEA) region is part of Asia Pacific and comprises full country businesses in Singapore and Malaysia as well as the Asia Emerging Markets, which currently include distributor businesses in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. There are significant opportunities to grow these and other markets for CooperVision.
To establish and maintain the CooperVision high quality of service and development with the range of contact lenses and related Myopia management products and services to selected priority Optical Business Owners at assigned areas in Singapore. Primarily accountable for driving in-market sales volumes through field sales and identification of business opportunities. Essential to this role is relationship-building and knowledge of trade program implementation.
**Essential Functions & Accountabilities**
- Achieve sustainable sales and profitability objectives of the assigned accounts. Support in customer planning, monitoring and executing of trade strategies, promotional activities and expenditure in line with business and brand strategy
- Monitoring and reporting of monthly sales volumes of CooperVision products
- Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly reports detailing market conditions, competitor information, opportunities, threats, activities, goals and achievements.
- Identify top retail accounts from independent stores segment which accounts for the majority of company sales which is also the key targeted group for marketing and promotional activities.
- Develop a comprehensive schedule for regular engagement with identified accounts. Meetings with both business owners and dispensing staff are equally essential.
- Identify unique opportunities and develop business plans and strategies with the owner or management of each retail account to maximize product sales volume and penetration.
- Build rapport with key dispensing personnel in individual retail stores with the objective of ensuring that they are fully competent in demonstrating and selling CooperVision products.
- Execute activities and identify key areas for vision care concept and elevate CooperVision brand presence
- Build strong relationships with local educational institutions, trade organizations, professional practitioners (i.e., optometrists) and key opinion leaders in the business
- Work closely with brand counterparts as well as supply chain team to ensure accurate stocks forecast planning and seamless execution in-store
- As a brand ambassador, consistently conduct oneself in high professional standards reflective of the CooperVision values and code of ethics.
**Scope**

**Qualifications**
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate skillset with sales strategies to capitalize on opportunities and counter competitive threats
- Strong analytical capability to understand profitability and problem solving

- Team collaboration between country functional stakeholders required
**Experience**:
- Minimum of three years sales experience ideally from optical industry background or medical device industry
- Sales experience from a business-to-business sales background
- Proven track record in successful achieving sales objectives
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good strategic and planning skills
