**The Company**

Our client is a world-class oil and gas terminal in Singapore. It offers versatile storage facilities, deep-water berths for large vessels, and integrated services. With a commitment to safety and sustainability, they serve as a vital hub for global trade, providing efficient and reliable handling of liquid bulk cargoes. They are looking for a Senior IT Consultant to establish their digital roadmap.

**The Role**

Industry Expertise:

- Develop a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, including its operations, technology landscape, and specific IT challenges.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the oil and gas sector.
- Provide strategic IT guidance to clients in the oil and gas industry, aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

IT Strategy and Planning:

- Collaborate with clients to define and shape their IT strategies, roadmaps, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct assessments of existing IT infrastructure, systems, and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop comprehensive IT plans and architectures that support business objectives, considering factors like efficiency, security, and compliance.
- Advise on technology investments and help clients prioritize projects based on their potential impact and return on investment.

Solution Design and Implementation:

- Design and architect IT solutions specific to the oil and gas industry, considering operational requirements, data management, and analytics needs.
- Lead or contribute to the implementation of complex IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to develop integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, troubleshooting issues and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Data Management and Analytics:

- Advise on data management strategies, including data capture, storage, integration, and analytics.
- Recommend and implement solutions for data governance, master data management, and data quality assurance.
- Help clients leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to derive insights and drive informed decision-making.
- Support the implementation of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for predictive maintenance, asset optimization, and operational efficiency.

IT Security and Risk Management:

- Assess and enhance IT security measures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and protecting critical infrastructure and data assets.
- Advise on cybersecurity strategies, risk assessment, and incident response planning.
- Collaborate with clients to develop robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, considering potential IT disruptions in the oil and gas sector.

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Consultant with a focus on the oil and gas industry.
- Strong expertise in IT strategy development, solution design, and implementation.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and systems such as SCADA, GIS, ERP, drilling and production software, and data management platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements in the sector.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, lead projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or industry-specific certifications in oil and gas technology are desirable.
