Job Title : SAP FICO Consultant / SAP Finance & Controlling Specialist

Location : Singapore

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to design, implement, support, and optimize SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT to ensure SAP solutions align with financial processes, reporting requirements, and compliance standards in Singapore and across APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
  • Configure SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting (BA), and related sub-modules.
  • Configure SAP CO modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Perform gap analysis and provide solutions that adhere to SAP best practices.
  • Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
  • Prepare functional specifications for custom development when standard SAP functionality is insufficient.
  • Assist in data migration: extract, transform, load (ETL) financial and controlling data into SAP.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide post-implementation support: troubleshooting, resolving issues, applying SAP notes.
  • Prepare functional documentation: configuration guides, process flows, user manuals, training materials.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth SAP project delivery.
  • Mentor junior consultants / team members (for senior roles).
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP FICO updates, S/4HANA innovations, and relevant regulatory changes in Singapore.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of SAP FICO consulting experience (junior: 2-4 years; senior: 7+ years).
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, BA) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA).
  • Experience in S/4HANA Finance migration / implementation is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, statutory reporting, and business processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration points with MM, SD, PP, or other modules.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, functional testing, and data migration.
  • Familiarity with SAP reporting tools (SAP Fiori, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in Agile / Waterfall environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • SAP FICO certification (e.g., C_TFIN52_67, S/4HANA FI/CO).
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance migration or rollouts in APAC.
  • Knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements, tax, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with automation in SAP testing (e.g., eCATT, Tosca, Tricentis).
  • Experience with SAP project methodology (SAP Activate, ASAP).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $4, $11,064.44 per month
