We are a growing engineering consulting company based in Singapore, seeking for a high performing professional to join us as a Payroll Manager.

**About You**

**Responsibilities**

In this role, you will be responsible to:

- Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the Payroll function.
- Manage legislative changes, ensuring adherence to compliance factors that impact on the successful execution of Payroll operations.
- An advisor on the local statutory laws, regulation and Employment Act.
- Review and file relevant payroll related tax returns.
- Ensure best practice controls across all payroll processes.
- Ensure all payroll payments are in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Supervise the preparation and analysis of monthly Payroll Reconciliations.
- Responsible for year-end payroll processing activities.
- Responsible in responding to all internal and external inquiries on payroll related issues, social insurance, and taxation.
- Drive quality, excellence and efficiency through the identification of viable process improvements.
- Work with the Finance team and motivate to encourage innovative thinking, develop new ideas/approaches and promote “One Beca”.
- Proactively contribute to the development of expertise within the wider Finance team.
- Demonstrate leadership and coaching skills to inspire and motivate payroll staff to achieve organisational objectives.

**Pre-Requisites**
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy or related qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in payroll management.
- Strong knowledge in Singapore payroll practices, taxation and relevant regulations and ASEAN regions will be an advantage.
- Oversee the performance of payroll processing activities to ensure an accurate and timely payroll delivery
for all employees.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately.
- Strong supervisory, leadership skills and team player.
- Meticulous, able to multi-task, logical and analytical.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with all level of staff.
- Fast learner, resourceful and possess initiative.
- Able to work well under situations and manages expectations of stakeholders.
