Senior Product Director

**Your Job**:
We are looking for an experienced Product Leader to join us in our mission to help people get jobs. Specifically, someone to strategically lead and own a portfolio of end-to-end products and services that will provide guidance and information to tens of millions of jobseekers around the world at every step of their career journey

As a Senior Product Director for Jobseeker Content, you will employ a mix of broad product strategy and the ability to deep-dive into the challenges that jobseekers face today.

In this role, you will manage a team of over 15 including Product Directors, Senior Product Managers and Product Managers. This product group is geographically distributed, with team members in Australia, Canada, Japan, India, Singapore and the US. This business organization broadly also consists of over 120 people cross-functionally.

Upon offices reopening post-COVID, all roles on this team will have the flexibility to return to the office or remain remote. We have daily (virtual) standups, weekly prioritization, OKR reviews, and we stay closely in touch.

You will lead teams focussing on:

- Company reviews; Helping job seekers gain insights about companies
- Careers; Helping job seekers explore careers through understanding compensation and benefits
- Education; Help job seekers find the right educational establishment to acquire qualifications to get a better job
- Career Guide; elp job seekers with career guidance and salary estimates
- Career Services; Help job seekers gain access to resume review services conducted by experts
**Responsibilities**
- Envision, develop and communicate product vision and strategy for Jobseeker content products that will inform and guide tens of millions of job seekers around the world
- Lead and grow a team of talented product managers (a mix of people managers and individual contributors) to build great products that help people get jobs
- Collaborate with fellow engineering, design and business leadership to align on product priorities and strategy
- Drive product development with diverse, high-caliber teams of engineers and designers
- Provide effective written and verbal updates on the product strategy and key outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

**Who You Are**:

- Extensive product management experience with a proven track record of successfully launching products (at least half of it from building consumer-facing products)
- Experience hiring, managing and developing product managers (individual contributors and people managers)
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling consumer products used by millions of users every month
- Experience growing and managing multiple product development teams
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, communicate priorities and corresponding product roadmap across functions and geographies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves
- Demonstrated success nurturing and growing geographically distributed teams
- Experience with e-commerce, travel or adjacent industries
- Design or user experience background

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
