Behavior Therapist

Therapy Kidz specialises in providing quality and effective intervention programmes to children who requires additional support in their development. We believe in working closely with the children, their family members and people in their environment. We offer and recommend home-based intervention as working with them in their natural environment has proven to help children, especially younger children, build rapport and reduce their level of anxiety. Working with children in their natural environment has proven to help children generalize the skills out of the clinic setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement individualised programmes for children with special needs
- Provide 1-to-1 behavior therapy/ school shadowing to children (between 18 months to 17 years old) at their home or school environment
- Provide timely reports and updates to parents regarding the child's progress
- Provide and upkeep reports and records of sessions as required
- Provide assistance, training and advise to parents and teachers of the client
- Manage client cases and provide clear updates to Case Managers
- Attend case meetings (once a month, first Monday evening)
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the company

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma holders majoring in special education
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a behavior therapist
- Prior experience in ABA/ Autism Therapy is a must
- Energetic and independent worker
- Willingness to learn and improve professionally
- Must have a great passion and patience to work with children with special needs
- Singaporean only

**Salary**: $48.00 - $70.00 per hour
