This position will report to the Programme Manager of the Children Department

**Roles & Responsibilities**
Job Summary
- Provide operational support for the different literacy programmes
Key Responsibilities
- Volunteer engagement
- Conduct screening and onboarding of new volunteers
- Assist in monitoring and supporting assigned volunteers in carrying out the lessons
- Oversee and manage an assigned literacy programme
- Ensure smooth running of the weekly sessions: onboard programme volunteers and students, manage programme schedule, monitor attendance of volunteers and students
- Monitor volunteer performance and student learning outcomes
- Conduct lessons as assigned
- Administrative support
- Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of lesson materials
- Assist with administrative duties within the department such as processing of student registration, collation of test results, programme scheduling
- Any other duties as assigned
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in fundraising and other additional responsibilities as required by management
**Requirements**:
Experience & Capabilities
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in Social Service and/or Education sector would be an advantage
- Have a strong passion for working with children literacy and serving the community
- Possess good communication and engagement skills, fluent in English and a 2ndlanguage
- Possess good organizational skills and is detail-oriented
- Is a reliable team player and flexible to work on some weekday evenings or Saturday mornings
- Proficient with Microsoft office, Google Suites and Canva
**Qualifications**:
Degree holder
Relevant work experience in volunteer management and social service sector would be an advantage
