The Supplier Development Manager is responsible for: - Teamwork with the supplier to improve on capacity, flexibility, quality, industrialization, productivity improvement. - Lead initiatives to connect the dots to resolve challenges - Supplier process development, supplier capability qualification and first article qualification. - Proactive supplier on-boarding and auditing - Improving supplier performance management - Ensuring supplier compliance for key regulations & standards - Driving supplier Sustainability to support our objectives - Developing supplier development metrics & dashboards - Establishing continuous improving across the function, driven through adopting best practice & Lean - Alignment with internal and external stakeholders - Creating the oversight of initiatives, workstreams, people, time, and resources necessary to keep the teams moving forward - Providing analysis and solution options to Global Supplier Management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Strong working knowledge of MS Office. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective Supplier interactions. Educational/Certification Requirement: - BS in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering discipline with >10 years experience. - ASQC, CQE certification a plus. Experience Requirement: - Work Experience: Technical experience in semiconductor capital equipment and Gas Panel related activities are highly desirable. - Management Experience (for people manager job only): Physical Demands and Working Conditions: This section is required for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Acts (ADA) Criteria: Work Environment: - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions - Work is performed primarily in a standard office and/or Manufacturing environment Physical Demands: - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. - Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance. - Ability to move arms, hands and fingers. - Ability to sit for sustained periods of time. - Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks. - Ability to sit for sustained periods of time. Environmental Exposure: - Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp. - Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable. - May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc. - Ability to talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required. - May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc. Overnight Travel: Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting). 25 %.
