**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

The Salvation Army in Singapore first cared for women and girls through our work shelter programmes in the 1930s. Today, the same compassion to care for women is carried on by helping foreign domestic workers who are caught in challenging circumstances and require the need for shelter.

We are partnering with the Centre of Domestic Employees, a non-governmental organisational arm of the National Trade Union Congress, to operate a residential care programme for sheltered foreign domestic workers.

Through thoughtful and nurturing programmes, we will work towards improving the well-being of the sheltered foreign domestic workers with the aim of guiding them to be more resilient and to feel cared for.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**About the Job**

The Residential Care Associate is part of a care team who is responsible for ensuring order and safety on the ground.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To record and report any incidents that take place in the premise.
- To do check in for Foreign Domestic Workers that comes in late at night.
- Occasionally help with repatriation of Foreign Domestic Workers in the middle of the night.
- To activate ambulance services if required in time of emergency after liaising with the centre manager.
- To make sure that all the Foreign Domestic Workers are in the premise when doing round checks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- GCE N or O-level
- **Able to work night shift**:

- A good communicator
- Work in collaboration with the team

**OTHER INFORMATION**
**Working Hours**
- 44 hour work week with live-in support
- 5.5 days per week
- 7am - 10am ; 7pm - 12am (Sun)
- 5pm - 12am (Wed)
- 6pm - 12am (Mon, Thurs, Fri and Sat)
- From 12 -7 am rest time. Only attend to emergency and as and when necessary, during night shift
