**What the role is**
**What you will be working on**
- Formulate and review procurement policies and procedures, as well as provide advice to departments on procurement requirements to ensure compliance to government procurement rules and meeting business needs.
- Review quotation and tender documents, including requirement specifications and evaluation reports, to ensure
- adherence to the procurement principles of open and fair competition, transparency and value-for-money.
- Design and develop procurement templates and job aids on procurement matters for staff.
- Assist in online purchases using Corporate Credit Card.
- Follow up with users on post-contract management.
- Liaise with auditors on all procurement-related audit matters.
- Analyse procurement and payment data to look out for exceptions and improvement opportunities.

in consultation with relevant stakeholders and prevent disruption to execution of contract.
Procurement Operations
- Drive continuous procurement operations improvement initiatives for efficiency; direct implementation of procurement
operations to streamline processes and minimise vulnerability to fraud, waste and errors.
Sourcing and Category Management
- Oversee tendering and evaluation processes to comply with procurement values and policies
- Provide guidance to business/technical users on complex specification requirements for compliance with appropriate
approval process.
[Additional Requirements]
- At least 3 years working experience in procurement-related areas. Experience in public sector is advantageous.
- Having knowledge in GeBIZ will be advantageous.
Civil Service College may emplace the officer into permanent establishment.
