Director, Global Media Rights

**Responsibilities**:
This position is a key role in shaping the future of the company. You will take lead responsibility in the following key areas including, but not limited to:

- As part of the global leadership team, work closely with the Senior Management, Global Media Rights team, and department heads to achieve strategic objectives in alignment with ONE Championship’s mission and vision
- Develop and implement short and long-range growth strategies that significantly increase revenue through sales of media rights
- Conduct market research to keep up with industry trends and source for potential clients
- Lead all aspects of the deal development such as: prospecting, sourcing, negotiating, closing, proactively identifying potential business partners, and negotiating agreements
- Ensure proper preparation and execution of signed contracts
- Hire, motivate, and retain a high performing team and ensure a participative work environment
- Develop and monitor metrics for maximizing sales performance and establish annual budget targets
- Conduct strategic presentations to senior executives inside and outside the organization
- Develop new market initiatives by assessing new markets and analysing business opportunities
- Leverage extensive network contacts and relationships, maximize opportunities to build relationships in the community
- Lead all pitches to broadcasters and host meetings, as well as, workshops for both current and potential broadcasters
- Assume other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Media Rights of the Company

**Job Requirements**
- Knowledge of the Free-to-air TV landscape in South-East Asia specifically
- Proven track record within the Industry
- Minimum 8- 10 years' of experience in right holders / media sales
- Highest level of integrity and ethics, both professional and personal
- Attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize work while working independently Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines
- Willing to travel frequently
