**About the Role**:
Responsible for developing, managing and delivering regional Rewards and Performance Management initiatives to the Branches in Asia Pacific. Also, responsible for providing sound HR advice to the Branches to support decision making on complex reward and performance management issues including but not limited to total compensation proposals, benchmarking and compensation analysis.
**Responsibilities**:
Support the end to end development and delivery of Total Rewards for the Asia Pacific region, not limited to the following:
- Annual performance and rewards review, partnering with the business partners and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the activities.
- Lead and/or support the delivery of local Reward initiatives within the Branch on time, on budget and aligned with local regulations.
- Review and contribute to complex proposals prepared by Branch HR including but not limited to benefit proposals, salary benchmarking, salary proposals and buy out calculations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
- Support the development of the department's strategy
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
- Collaborate effectively with branch, regional and global colleagues on policies, processes, projects and share best practices.
- Provide HR policy interpretation and guidance on MUFG compensation and benefit policies and processes.
- Develop/coordinate and manage project activities to be delivered on time and no budget.
- Research Compensation and Benefits regulatory issues and prepare recommendations to mitigate risk to the Bank.
- Support in managing the risk profile for the department by providing sound policy advice to support decision making in the business.
- Develop and make improvements to total rewards reporting and analytics.
- Participate in relevant committees in the Branch.
- Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum 4 years of Performance and Rewards experience
- Excellent MS Excel, VBA, MS PowerPoint, and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of regional pay and benefits regulations
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence others and present well
- Team player and ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Degree qualified
