**Our client is a Life Science MNC industry. They are looking for a Senior Microbiologist to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.**

**Duties**:

- Responsible in assisting the lab manager to ensure that the Laboratory area operates efficiently and to ensure that resource requirements are met for the Laboratory area
- Responsible in coordinating staff so that the team’s KPIs are met in relation to TATs and specific customer requirements
- Responsible in ensuring that suitably qualified and/or trained staff are available to meet TAT and the lab manager is fully aware of any operational or productivity issues as and when they arise.
- Validates and releases test reports to customers.
- Responsible assisting the lab manager to carry out planned training for test procedure, equipment operations and other laboratory operation procedures for technicians and other staff of the laboratory.
- Responsible in technical trouble shooting related to test method or equipment problems.
- Responsible in initiating or revising procedures and forms as well as carry out method validations.
- Responsible in ensuring clarity and alignment of roles and ensure the efficient deployment of staff resources and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Responsible in ensuring that systems implemented are adhered to and monitored in conjunction with Quality & Compliance Department.
- Responsible in coordinating with Quality and Compliance Department on Quality issues and Quality improvements
- Responsible in participating in workplace safety management practices to improve safety and health in the workplace environment to keep yourself and others safe, and to achieve continuous improvement and recognition of best practice.
- Responsible in maintaining equipment by performing assigned maintenance activities & troubleshoot unexpected problems.

**Requirements**:

- Min Bachelor Degree in Bio/Life Sciences & Microbiology, or Bio-Tech / Bio-Molecular or any relevant field
- Min 3 - 5 years working experience in related industries.
- Prior experience in both Micro-Biology as well as Bio-Molecular Work is a bonus.
- Prior experience in Existing Technical Signatories for Microbiology &/or Bio-Molecular is a bonus
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in PCR works
