**About This Role:
- **
The Head Of Market Surveillance role will build strong and collaborative relationships with the rest of the internal business partners in order to manage, monitor and providing operations support to detect and mitigate risk arising from conduct of market abuse by conducting market surveillance as per standards policy and procedures.
In addition, the role is also responsible in helping and support to the Head of Operations in implementing and ensuring running of a smooth and efficient operational framework of Market Surveillance operations processes, standards and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct Market surveillance using for crypto assets traded on the exchange
- Detect and mitigate risks arising from conduct of market abuse
- Market abuse themes under surveillance:
- Money laundering
- Insider dealing
- Market manipulation
- False and mis-leading information
- Draft the Market Surveillance policy using International crypto assets regulations
- Draft standard operating procedures related to Market Surveillance
- Perform risk-based surveillance and investigation of clients as per policies, standards and procedures
- Regularly review the alert models and policy to keep them aligned to regulatory requirements
**Qualifications And Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree.
Experience and Skill
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Market Surveillance Operations in the banking / securities services / fintech / payments industry.
- Familiar with regulatory securities and payments services guidelines and procedures.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Keen interest to work in a start-up environment.
- Great communication skills.
