**The Head of Department is principally responsible for the effective management of the Loans Administration matters and Safe Custody of security documents in the company. Oversees all related operation processes, documentation, disbursements, report submission, loan records maintenance and procedures adherence.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviews all loan matters and checks and signs all Letter of Offers and loan releases promptly, including loan redemption and loan correspondence.
- Liaise with solicitors on legal matters pertaining to loans matters, and vets legal documents.
- Checks and reviews all system generated reports for unauthorized transactions, mistakes, etc.
- Ensure that the security documents of disbursed loans are properly safe kept.
- Co-ordinates with other departments on the smooth implementation of new operational procedures, and involved in system enhancement.
- Sits on the Credit Control Committee to discuss the status of loans, and to ensure that actions pertaining to loan documentation & disbursement are taken as per the Committee’s approval.
- Prepare, check and review reports, including MAS reports to ensure accuracy & timely submission.
- Constantly review all documentation to ensure concurrence to statutory changes.
- Reviews all loan requests for special considerations.
- Updates Department procedure manual.
- Constantly reviews the work process to improve the efficiency & productivity of the dept.
- Any other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in property loans, HP loans (car and equipment), Block discounting / floor stock financing, share financing.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
